Senior Salesforce Developer (Salesforce)

Location: Fully remote, limited to candidates authorized to work in the United States who have resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years; Public Trust background investigation required

hirify.global supports an ongoing federal customer project for the CMS CHAMP Salesforce application.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, custom objects, metadata, and related platform technologies.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Develop solutions from approved user stories and requirements within an Agile Scrum environment; participate in planning, refinement, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Administrators, Test Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and project leadership.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes and enhancements, and support hotfix and release activities across development, QA, UAT, staging, and production.
• Support application modernization, Lightning migration, modular design, automation, performance optimization, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the US and residence in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, Finance, Business Management, or a related STEM field; 2 years of work experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 3 years of Salesforce platform development experience.
• Certified Salesforce Developer Platform I and Certified Salesforce Developer Platform II.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps using Git and deployment automation tools such as Copado.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, using Jira for backlog management and sprint execution, and independently owning assigned user stories.
• Experience with peer code reviews, secure coding practices, and the full software development lifecycle from development through production deployment.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and experience developing web services between Salesforce and third-party applications.
• Strong knowledge of Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components/LWC, Aura, Visualforce, custom objects, Salesforce Flows, approval processes, email alerts, and communication templates.
• Strong knowledge and experience with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Visual Studio Code, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Salesforce System Administrator.
• Experience with Salesforce Einstein.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience using Jira or Agile Accelerator.
• CMS or federal healthcare experience.
