Senior Salesforce Developer (Salesforce)

Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky, or remote within the United States; US citizenship required

What you will do

• Lead junior Salesforce developers in delivering custom solutions for DoD customers.
• Design, build, test, and maintain Salesforce features using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
• Lead technical design for complex features and break work into clear tasks.
• Build and maintain REST and SOAP API and Platform Events integrations with the MuleSoft Integration Architect.
• Implement secure code covering sharing rules, field-level security, and CUI protection requirements.
• Write unit tests, perform code reviews, manage CI/CD deployments, troubleshoot production issues, document designs, and recommend Salesforce improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs and Platform Events.
• Knowledge of governor limits, asynchronous Apex including Batch, Queueable, and Scheduled Apex, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Copado, or Gearset.
• Experience writing unit tests and leading code reviews.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer and Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ or another DoD 8140-qualifying certification, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to write maintainable code, solve problems methodically, mentor developers, collaborate with architects, analysts, and testers, and keep current with Salesforce releases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud Plus or Government Cloud Plus – Defense, DoD or other federal programs, Salesforce Shield, Experience Cloud, or Public Sector Solutions.
• MuleSoft development experience and static code analysis tools such as Salesforce Code Analyzer or PMD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer, or Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer certification.
