Salesforce Developer - Remote USA

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and perform all work in the US. Foreign-location access and personal VPN connections are prohibited. The role is associated with Reston, Virginia.

Salary: $81,499.00–$167,644.00 annually for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Participate in the full Salesforce application lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and release compatibility reviews.
• Write, test, and deploy reusable Apex code; create Lightning components; and design Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and data models.
• Improve application performance through code optimization, modular development, lazy loading, query optimization, caching, and asynchronous workflows.
• Gather technical requirements, translate user stories and dependencies into technical delivery, and collaborate with designers, engineers, users, and stakeholders.
• Lead automation-first practices, troubleshooting, documentation, Agile activities, knowledge sharing, and enforcement of Salesforce coding standards.
• Contribute to solution analyses, proof-of-concepts, scalable cloud designs, risk management, and cross-team delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and perform the work in the US.
• Must have lived in the US for 3 full years out of the last 5 years.

Nice to have

• Web programming experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Salesforce development with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Copado CI/CD pipeline experience and Copado best-practice knowledge.
• REST API integration experience, object-oriented design patterns, Salesforce data modeling, multi-cloud architectures, and AWS cloud development.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe teams, security, DevSecOps, Salesforce reporting and dashboards, call center implementations, and multi-team development environments.
• Civic technology, government contracting, and Health Cloud implementation or development experience.
• Active Trailblazer account and Salesforce Developer I, Developer II, or Platform App Builder certification.
• Copado Fundamentals I or II certification.
• Excellent presentation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
