Backend Developer (.NET/Azure)

Location: Liverpool City Centre HQ, hybrid with 3 days in the office per week. Applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services using C#, .NET 8.0, Azure, and Docker.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Design and implement APIs and data solutions using SQL Server, Entity Framework, and MongoDB.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to turn ideas into features.
• Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, experimentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience building applications in C# and .NET.
• Good understanding of APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with Azure and containerisation with Docker.
• Interest in testing best practices and CI/CD.
• Collaborative mindset, eagerness to grow, problem-solving ability, and pride in writing clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to work in the Liverpool HQ three days per week.
• At least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa.
