Principal Product Manager - Professional Trading Tools & Experience (Crypto Trading)

Location: Remote roles in EMEA; Sliema, Malta

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, delivery, and continuous improvement of professional trading tools and the end-to-end trading experience.
• Develop market analysis, charting, order execution, position management, account monitoring, workspace customisation, and selected automation capabilities.
• Research active and professional traders, competitor platforms, workflows, behaviours, pain points, and expectations.
• Improve the trading journey from opportunity discovery and order placement through execution, position monitoring, and post-trade review.
• Define success metrics and use customer feedback, behavioural data, and trading data to guide priorities.
• Coordinate engineering, design, data, quantitative research, risk, compliance, operations, support, and commercial teams while managing trade-offs and delivery risks.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of product management experience delivering complex user-facing products.
• Meaningful experience building professional trading tools, terminals, charting or market-data products, execution products, or trading automation solutions.
• Relevant experience may come from equities, futures, options, FX, commodities, multi-asset platforms, or crypto; direct crypto-company experience is not required.
• Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows, including market data, order placement and execution, position management, margin, P&L, and risk controls.
• Familiarity with TradingView, 3Commas, Bookmap, ATAS, Quantower, or comparable professional trading platforms.
• Experience owning the full product lifecycle from research and strategy through prioritisation, requirements, delivery, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Strong product judgement, qualitative and quantitative decision-making, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder influence without formal authority.
• Experience working with engineering and design teams on real-time, data-intensive, or high-performance products.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment. Excellent written and spoken English is required for meetings, documentation, and daily collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto spot, perpetual futures, options, CEX, DEX, or on-chain trading products.
• Hands-on familiarity with professional trading platforms or experience as an active trader.
• Experience with advanced trading features, algorithmic execution, trading automation, or exchange connectivity.
• Experience building products across web, desktop, and mobile trading environments.
• Knowledge of exchange APIs, real-time market-data infrastructure, or broker and exchange integrations.
• Technical, quantitative, engineering, economics, finance, or mathematics background.
