Lead Product Manager (DeFi)

Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid working model combining onsite collaboration and remote work, with an additional 25 days per year to work from a city or country of choice.

What you will do

• Build hirify.global’s DeFi ecosystem on Vision Chain, an OP Stack L2 blockchain, starting with crypto-backed borrowing and lending.
• Design and operate lending markets, including loan-to-value ratios, liquidation thresholds, interest-rate curves, caps, oracles, monitoring, and incident playbooks.
• Bring liquidity and verified users to permissioned markets and assets through stablecoin issuers, institutional lenders, curated vaults, and market makers.
• Establish DeFi infrastructure for permissioned tokenized assets, including DEX liquidity, liquidators, oracles, and related market components.
• Shape customer-facing borrowing, ownership, signing, liquidation, and risk experiences in the hirify.global app while measuring borrower retention, bad debt, and revenue.
• Recommend protocols and partners for Vision Chain, prepare business cases, and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk on EU consumer credit rules and MiCA.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3+ years building and scaling DeFi or crypto products.
• In-depth knowledge of lending markets, including collateral and liquidation mechanics, interest-rate models, oracle risks, curation, and bad debt.
• Familiarity with the EVM and ability to read Solidity smart contract code well enough to question engineers about it.
• Demonstrated experience bringing DeFi applications into regulated consumer products and bridging decentralized and centralized finance.
• Ability to lead through influence, build clear business cases, and write excellent documentation in English.
• Strong working knowledge of EU crypto regulations, including MiCA, to partner effectively with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience scaling onchain ecosystem liquidity from scratch.
• Knowledge of or work experience in traditional financial markets.
