Senior Salesforce Engineer (AI)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; remote

What you will do

• Design and develop custom applications on the Salesforce platform as a senior developer.
• Own features from requirements clarification through release delivery.
• Act as the technical voice in direct customer conversations and deliver solutions aligned with client challenges.
• Use agentic coding tools as part of the standard development workflow.
• Collaborate with business-oriented stakeholders to clarify user stories, requirements, and objectives.
• Own the test suite, assess AI-generated coverage, add missing tests, and maintain code quality.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building complex Salesforce applications in production for real users, with knowledge of best practices and software design patterns.
• Daily experience using AI tooling such as Cursor, Claude Code, custom agents, or an equivalent stack.
• English at B2 level or above; daily work is conducted in English.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests that keep code reliable through frequent releases.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical product stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience developing applications for AgentExchange, formerly AppExchange.
• Experience developing applications in React.
• Claude certifications.
• Salesforce certifications.
