What you will do

• Identify engineering problems and develop competitive solutions in collaboration with colleagues.
• Create technical design proposals, drawings, electrical diagrams, calculations, and product models using applicable design tools.
• Develop concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes to validate designs and implement them into operations.
• Verify and validate designs while meeting applicable legal requirements, codes, standards, schedules, and quality targets.
• Maintain existing designs through engineering change orders and execute corrective or preventive actions.
• Create and maintain product data according to PDM/PLM guidelines while reporting technical and schedule risks.

Requirements

• Ability to identify problems, generate ideas, and develop competitive engineering solutions.
• Ability to create and document technical designs using applicable tools and guidelines.
• Ability to verify and validate designs and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, codes, and standards.
• Ability to collaborate actively with software teams and other disciplines.
