Application Engineer (Semiconductor Lithography)

Location: Taoyuan City, Taiwan; Linkou, Taiwan. Travel within Taiwan is required.

What you will do

• Sustain the installed machine base in high-volume manufacturing by addressing on-product performance issues.
• Own customer requests through customer interfacing, data collection, first-hand analysis, and follow-up.
• Communicate and escalate issues to hirify.global headquarters experts while maintaining ownership and driving containment or solutions.
• Support new-product business development by connecting D&E ideas with customer requirements.
• Support new product introduction in customer R&D and pilot fabs.
• Coordinate across departments and troubleshoot lithography-related issues under time pressure.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in a technical field; a PhD is a plus but not required.
• Limited experience in an IC manufacturing environment or research institute focused on lithography, patterning, overlay, imaging, focus, metrology, or defectivity in node/process development.
• Understanding of semiconductor lithography processes and optical and metrology mechanisms.
• Ability to understand customer needs and clearly describe customer issues to internal stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate across departments and ensure a smooth troubleshooting process.
• Ability to present and report clearly in English and Chinese during internal and external meetings.
