Application Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid, Taoyuan, Taiwan

What you will do

• Provide technical service and troubleshooting for customers in collaboration with global teams.
• Develop and maintain technical relationships with customers and external partners to understand needs and requirements.
• Conduct laboratory work and perform material analysis and demonstrations for customer requests and project needs.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Marketing on key accounts, value propositions, and long-term technology trends.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to meet customer requirements and drive quality improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including knowledge of semiconductor fabrication or advanced packaging processes.
• Expertise in a relevant technology area such as PI/PBO passivation or photoresist applications.
• Proven experience in technology or application development.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory management, lithography equipment, material demonstrations, and material analysis equipment.
• Self-motivation, ability to learn quickly, and effectiveness in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with global organizations based on different PCF needs.
• Fluent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Ability to travel overseas as required.
