Sr. Engineer - Frontend (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build and maintain single-page web applications for the Falcon platform and internal Falcon Complete tooling using JavaScript, React, and Ember.
• Deliver cross-tenant software and user interfaces that help security analysts protect multiple customer environments at high scale.
• Own product delivery, contribute to architecture, and coordinate scope and priorities with stakeholders.
• Review code, write automated tests, and build tools that improve the development experience.
• Collaborate with frontend and cloud engineers, UX designers, technical writers, product managers, security analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Develop accessible, high-quality user experiences for customers and analysts operating 24/7/365.

Requirements

• Good understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills, including CSS preprocessors or postprocessors such as Sass or PostCSS, or CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies such as Playwright, QUnit, or Mocha.
• Knowledge of and interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.
• Comfort with Git or similar version control systems and workflows.
• Desire to work closely with others to deliver quality software and solve problems.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools such as Ember CLI and Webpack.
• Experience creating or contributing to open source projects.
• Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization.
• Experience with web accessibility testing and support.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
• Prior cybersecurity experience.
• Prior experience building enterprise software as a service.
