UEFI BIOS Firmware Program Manager for AI Servers

Location: Hybrid role in Spring, Texas, United States; average of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

Base salary: USD 123,500–285,000 annually in Texas. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Manage and lead multi-functional programs supporting engineering development and implementation of AI server products or services.
• Develop and manage schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, resource allocation plans, and other program requirements.
• Coordinate supporting project teams, internal development partners, manufacturing partners, and external partners.
• Track progress, analyze business information, and adjust schedules and resource allocation to meet product requirements and roadmaps.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders and recommend solutions to product, process, and business-practice issues.
• Drive integration of new technologies and quality initiatives while providing guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business Management, or equivalent.
• Typically 6–10 years of experience, including program management experience in a technical field.
• Program management experience in firmware, preferably UEFI or BMC firmware.
• Extensive experience using project and program planning tools and software to create, manage, and track project results.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Successful experience managing all aspects of programs, communicating with stakeholders, and directing matrixed teams and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in English and the local language.
• Ability to communicate program plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options with senior management.

Nice to have

• Background in server technology.
• Background in UEFI or BMC firmware development or validation.
• Experience working with external partners such as ODMs.
• PMP/PMI certification.
