OS Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America

Salary: $116,150–$182,400 USD annually, plus potential bonus and/or equity for United States of America candidates.

What you will do

• Lead a Microsoft strategic partnership program across hirify.global business units, vertical solutions, engineering teams, and IHV partners.
• Manage programs from ideation through implementation, defining timelines, resources, milestones, deliverables, and support requirements.
• Coordinate proof-of-concept implementation, guide engineering teams, and capture and share learning.
• Drive integration of emerging technologies and quality initiatives into market-ready solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, escalations, issue analysis, and recommendations to executives and partner stakeholders.
• Review program plans and improve the quality and efficiency of hirify.global’s program-management framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience designing and developing tools for project and program planning, management, and results tracking.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and business-acumen skills, including the ability to bridge technical engineering teams with business and executive leadership.
• Ability to lead and influence diverse teams across cultural and time-zone boundaries, direct matrix teams and resources, work with scrum teams, negotiate with business groups, and brief executive management.
• History of innovation, including examples of developing new business, technical, engineering, or manufacturing processes.
• Strong working knowledge of modern operating-system and platform architecture, including interactions between OS, firmware, drivers, silicon, security, power, memory, connectivity, and application/runtime layers.
• Ability to investigate new OS capabilities and translate them into platform requirements and product opportunities.
• Strong curiosity about emerging technologies, self-directed learning, experimentation, and the ability to form well-reasoned views on technology opportunities, trade-offs, and impact.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of local and hybrid AI systems, including models, inference runtimes, CPU/GPU/NPU acceleration, memory, model lifecycle management, security, power/performance trade-offs, and cloud/local execution.
• Familiarity with agentic AI platforms, including orchestration, tool invocation, agent identity, isolation, permissions, context management, local/cloud execution, and OS integration.
• Experience defining representative workloads and analyzing performance, responsiveness, memory, storage, power, thermal, and compute behavior across CPU, GPU, and NPU architectures.
• Experience guiding engineering teams in developing and evaluating proofs of concept for new technologies, architectures, and user scenarios.
