Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Penang 15, Penang, Malaysia; Shift 1 (Malaysia)

What you will do

• Drive IC testability and manufacturability from component feasibility through production ramp.
• Develop and validate test circuits, test flows, methodologies, validation hardware, and production test solutions.
• Evaluate designs on automatic test equipment (ATE), debug functionality and performance issues, and determine root causes.
• Perform device characterization, define datasheet specifications, analyze yield, bin splits, process/specification corners, and production fallout.
• Develop software to convert design-validation vectors and control complex test equipment.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness, engineering and customer sample generation, wafer starts, product qualification, capacity analysis, site certification, and production ramp with fab, assembly, test, and planning partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor test development, product engineering, or manufacturing test environments.
• Familiarity with ATE platforms and test program development.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
