Manufacturing Associate Engineer (AE) (Semiconductor)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite manufacturing environment with shift operations when required.

What you will do

• Monitor and support daily manufacturing operations to achieve cycle time, throughput, quality, and shipment plan targets.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve manufacturing issues affecting production and coordinate with Process, Equipment, and Manufacturing teams to optimize factory performance.
• Monitor WIP movement and support production prioritization to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Support capacity planning by maintaining accurate assumptions, constraints, and equipment utilization data.
• Support automation and manufacturing execution system deployment and sustainment, and provide operational support during production excursions and recovery activities.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, production engineering, industrial engineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support shift operations when required.
• Ability to perform activities safely and responsibly and comply with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
