Application Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Suzhou, China; onsite full-time position.

What you will do

• Lead customer negotiations on product specifications and define functional requirements for products to be designed.
• Present developed products to customers and collect the voice of customer to clarify needs and define requirements profiles.
• Manage projects daily, coordinate team members and related departments, and drive internal and external milestones.
• Ensure APQP outputs are generated and documented on time.
• Organize key project information to support project continuity and knowledge and lessons-learned management.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering; mechanical or textile engineering is preferred.
• More than 3 years of experience in automotive or a related industry.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing principles, GD&T, vehicle development processes, and quality tools such as 8D.
• Good skills in CAD and/or CATIA.
• Clear understanding of APQP and strong knowledge of filtration, nonwovens, product design, and relevant neighboring parts.
• Good written and oral English and good knowledge of PC application software.
