Motor Engineer

What you will do

• Design induction and/or BPM motors using electromagnetic field principles for compressor applications.
• Design motor mechanical and affiliated parts and work with compressor engineers on EER, protector development, and demagnetization capability.
• Participate in motor NPD from design input through sample development, compressor qualification, and production launch.
• Coordinate with laboratory, plant, AME, and other manufacturing teams to meet development schedules and validate manufacturing capability.
• Work with procurement on new-parts PPAP, supplier qualification, dual sourcing, and other sourcing activities.
• Support or lead cost-reduction and quality-improvement projects, document classification and storage, and competitive analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
• 0–3 years of experience in motor design, motor development, or related work.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic design principles.
• Basic project management knowledge.
• Good communication, collaboration, and quick-learning capabilities.
• Good English reading and writing skills.
