FVP, Commercial Banking Transformation (AI)

Location: Onsite at HQ in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash bonus target of 15% and restricted stock units bonus target of 15%.

What you will do

• Define and execute the future Commercial Banking operating model across people, AI, platforms, governance, and technology.
• Analyze current-state banking processes and design future-state workflows using agentic AI, automation, reusable components, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Prioritize transformation initiatives and lead cross-functional pods across delivery, capacity, quality, releases, and team development.
• Translate Commercial Banking strategy into technology requirements and delivery plans in partnership with Banking IT.
• Lead secure, scalable, reusable, production-ready AI-enabled development across n8n, Retool, and other banking platforms.
• Drive platform evolution, regulatory controls, change management, adoption, training, user feedback, and KPI reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience across commercial banking, process transformation, product management, and technology.
• Experience analyzing complex banking processes, designing future-state solutions, and developing strategic product roadmaps.
• Product Owner or Technical Product Manager experience covering requirements, backlogs, and Agile or Kanban delivery.
• Working knowledge of agentic AI, automation, and associated risks in regulated environments, with familiarity with n8n, Retool, or similar platforms.
• Technical understanding of architecture, APIs, integrations, ODS design, and modern software delivery practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, execute strategic roadmaps, drive change, and communicate effectively with executives.
