Senior Technical Program Manager (Networking)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office; San Jose, California, or HPE locations in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington

Base salary: USD 140,500–285,000 annually in California; USD 123,500–285,000 annually in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead multi-functional programs and project teams through the engineering development and implementation of networking products or services.
• Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budgets, resource allocation plans, and other program requirements.
• Manage supporting project teams and development partners, adjusting schedules and resources based on progress and business analysis.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders while coordinating with management, manufacturing, and development partners.
• Drive the integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into engineering and manufacturing projects.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
• 6+ years of program manager experience.
• Hands-on experience developing hardware and software products for the networking industry or related IT fields.
• Experience managing and/or developing software solutions deployed on public cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps development models using agile concepts.
• Experience using AI-related tools for program management tasks and deliverables.
• Extensive experience with project and program planning tools and software packages for creating, managing, and tracking project results.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen, including managing all aspects of programs, communicating with stakeholders, and directing matrixed teams and resources; ability to communicate plans, proposals, and results and negotiate with senior management.
• Mastery of English and the local language is required.
