Principal Technical Program Manager (SaaS)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid office role requiring three or more days per week in the office; 15% travel required.

Salary: $169,400–$241,400 base pay, with potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Lead complex, large-scale programs from planning through delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Align executives and stakeholders on objectives, scope, deliverables, priorities, and business outcomes.
• Provide strategic, data-driven guidance informed by industry, technology, and architecture trends.
• Manage timelines, budgets, quality standards, resources, dependencies, risks, and critical issues.
• Promote outcome-based program management, collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and best practices.
• Drive measurable value, adoption, delivery efficiency, stakeholder confidence, and team maturity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role, including successful delivery of complex software projects in a SaaS-based environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices, including SAFe, Scrum, LPM, and DevOps.
• Strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts across organizational levels and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Ability to perform in a hybrid-office role requiring three or more days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale system architecture, hirify.global Product Suites, Tax Services, Service Products, or corePayment Solutions services.
• Customer-centric approach to representing customer needs and preferences.
• Experience with Aha!, JIRA, Confluence, and PowerBI.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or LPM.
• Results-driven, out-of-the-box problem solving and a continuous learning approach, including asking relevant questions and incorporating feedback.
