Distribution & Inventory Lead II (Logistics)

Location: Novato, California, United States; Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Overtime may be required based on business volume, including occasional Saturdays.

Compensation: $26–$31/hour, based on applicable experience.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve Level 1–4 logistics tasks and serve as the go-to resource for process questions.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts, maintain inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and ensure safe and accurate storage.
• Oversee the customer service platform and ticket queue for Novato clients, resolving shipping, return, and order inquiries.
• Coordinate with IT, Customer Service, Production, vendors, suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Track logistics metrics, improve shipping and returns workflows, coordinate event supplies, and drive productivity and accuracy improvements.
• Escalate and resolve complex systems, equipment, and facilities issues while leading adoption of automation, scanning, and warehouse or inventory software enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations, including 1+ year in a lead or senior role.
• Experience running cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy in a warehouse or inventory management system.
• Experience managing carrier relationships and shipping or returns workflows, including UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex operational, systems, and equipment issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including collaboration with cross-functional and international teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, especially Excel or Sheets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese for global team collaboration.
