Senior Manager, Global Commercial EHS (Environmental Health & Safety)

Location: On-site in San Antonio, Texas, or Northridge, California, United States; travel up to 30% of the time.

Salary: $150,000–$256,000 USD annually for California and other specified U.S. locations; U.S. salary ranges exclude Puerto Rico and may vary by location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global EHS strategies aligned with commercial business goals.
• Design and implement global standards for workplace safety, ergonomics, travel health, and incident response.
• Lead occupational health initiatives covering mental wellness, medical surveillance, and pandemic preparedness.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits across commercial sites and field operations while ensuring compliance with international, national, and local EHS regulations.
• Develop EHS training for commercial teams and promote safety ownership and continuous improvement.
• Advise regional and country-level leaders and partner with HR, Legal, Facilities, Global Security, site teams, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of international EHS regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and REACH.
• Knowledge of facility and security program management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in med-tech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Multilingual proficiency.
