Sr. EHS Specialist (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Chaska, MN, United States; onsite role with occasional support for off-shift operations and initiatives.

Salary: $81,000–$112,500 per year, with actual pay dependent on overall skills for the role.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve site EHS programs in line with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and industry best practices.
• Build a safety culture through employee engagement, training, coaching, visible leadership, and participation in safety committees and emergency response.
• Drive environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, sustainability initiatives, and environmental permits and approvals.
• Lead the site's ergonomics team and program by identifying risks, implementing solutions, and improving employee well-being.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and communicate EHS metrics, insights, and recommendations to site leadership.
• Partner with engineering, automation, and operations teams to integrate EHS requirements into new equipment, facility upgrades, and manufacturing projects; stop work when imminent hazards are identified.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, semiconductor, or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials management, and environmental regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and build partnerships across all organizational levels.
• Passion for continuous improvement, employee engagement, and sustainable operations.
• Ability to occasionally support off-shift operations and initiatives.
