Integrations Engineer – MuleSoft

Location: Daily in-office work at Wynn's Strip property in Las Vegas, Nevada; this is not a remote or telecommuting position.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and enterprise integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity layers.
• Write RAML/OpenAPI specifications, publish reusable assets, and build DataWeave transformations across JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file, and other formats.
• Integrate on-premises and cloud systems through REST, SOAP, JMS/message queues, databases, SFTP, and SaaS connectors including Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
• Implement error handling, retries, reprocessing, logging, alerting, API security, monitoring, and production support for resilient integrations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, MUnit testing, code reviews, technical design sessions, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation.
• Use AI tools for integration design, development, testing, and documentation; participate in on-call support, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years of hands-on integration development experience, including at least two years building production solutions with MuleSoft Mule 4.
• Strong proficiency with Mule 4, DataWeave, API-led connectivity, and RAML/OpenAPI specifications.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, JSON, XML, synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and messaging with Anypoint MQ.
• Experience securing APIs and integrations with OAuth 2.0, TLS, JWT, client ID/secret, and IP whitelisting.
• Hands-on experience integrating with MS SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring skills for cloud-based integrations.
• Hands-on experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Professional experience with AI-assisted development or productivity tools, including vibe coding, Mule dev agent, Anypoint extensions, code generation, test generation, or documentation assistance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft certification, such as MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1/2 or Integration Architect.
• Experience designing agentic AI solutions and integrating AI agents into enterprise systems.
• Experience integrating MuleSoft with Azure services and hosting components in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Server, App Insights, and Azure Key Vault.
