MuleSoft Integration Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Develop APIs and integration flows using Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime.
• Own observability, troubleshooting, ongoing optimization, and the full integration lifecycle.
• Implement secure, reusable integrations using API-led connectivity and API security standards.
• Collaborate with architects, application teams, integration partners, product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute through code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States for this fully remote role.
• 5+ years of integration experience with a strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform; the position overview specifies 6+ years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid Mule deployment, plus CI/CD for MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of API-led connectivity, RAML/OAS API design, OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and Anypoint API Manager.
• Experience with event-driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka and integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or ServiceNow.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials.
• Experience with multi-cloud Mule runtime deployments, FinOps, or integration cost management.
• Experience implementing zero-trust API security models.
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform.
