Warehouse Operations Manager (Fulfillment)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end site performance across safety, inbound processing, inventory control, outbound distribution, quality, speed, and cost.
• Drive fulfillment execution against TRIR, near-miss reporting, pick/pack accuracy, dock-to-stock, dock-to-ship, cost-per-unit, and labor-utilization targets.
• Establish and improve SOPs using Lean, Kaizen, and 5S to remove bottlenecks, reduce waste, and scale workflows.
• Coach Area Managers, Operations Managers, and frontline leads while developing career paths, performance reviews, accountability, and psychological safety.
• Plan predictive labor and capacity across peak seasons, international freight intake, volume surges, and carrier cutoffs to meet same-day and next-day shipping commitments.
• Partner with Inventory Control, Transportation, Maintenance, Facilities, and Safety on blockers, WMS enhancements, warehouse technologies, and network initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume e-commerce fulfillment, automated distribution centers, or modern manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading large, multi-tiered teams of 100+ hourly team members and direct supervisory staff across multiple shifts or facilities.
• Success evaluating operational talent, conducting structured interviews, and building resilient leadership benches.
• Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, labor-tracking systems, and data analytics tools including Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Ability to diagnose root causes and make real-time, data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills, maturity in delivering direct constructive feedback, ability to navigate difficult conversations, and confidence advocating to executive leadership.
• Adaptability in a rapid-growth environment with changing operational priorities and volume demands.
