Logistics Account Manager (Warehouse Shipping)

Location: Ashburn, VA, United States; onsite warehouse operations

What you will do

• Create and maintain weekly shipping schedules, prioritize daily shipments, assign work orders, and oversee execution.
• Coordinate material handlers, monitor supply orders, schedule freight trucks, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, hazardous-material documentation, and international shipment paperwork.
• Inspect orders for correct routing, quantities, and destinations and perform quality control for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist with loading trucks, filling orders, preparing shipments, and operating pallet jacks and forklifts; obtain Raymond Lift certification within the first 30 days.
• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, train employees on procedures, and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree plus at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience.
• Experience in integrated logistics support, including warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development, provisioning, supply support, inventory control, logistics automated information systems and analysis tools, or maintenance concepts and requirements analyses.
• Active Secret U.S. Government Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work in a Department of Defense customer environment and integrate effectively with a government multi-contractor team.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment and start quickly.

Nice to have

• Military experience in a Supply Career Management Field.
• Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operations.
• Experience or knowledge related to network infrastructure equipment.
• Experience packaging and handling items prepared for storage and shipping.
