Warehouse Manager (Logistics)

Location: Houston, TX, United States of America. Onsite warehouse role. U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to data controlled under ITAR, including U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, and workers granted refugee or asylum status in the United States.

What you will do

• Manage receiving, inventory, cycle counts, shipping, material handling, and overall warehouse operations.
• Design and maintain processes for storing, retrieving, packaging, labeling, and delivering semi-finished and finished goods.
• Plan, direct, and control inbound and outbound freight activities and warehouse staff.
• Develop warehouse strategies, systems, and processes aligned with business and Operations requirements.
• Use root cause analysis to resolve local and global logistics problems and serve as the interface between Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing, and other functions.
• Implement Lean tools, 5S, resource changes, and process improvements while maintaining communication across shifts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, or other logistics functions.
• Ability to plan departmental growth in alignment with organizational vision and strategy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Experience directing, planning, and scheduling work for self and team.
• High self-motivation and the ability to influence people at all organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR-controlled data access.

Nice to have

• Business Administration or Logistics specialization preferred.
• LEAN or Six Sigma certification with a track record of multiple successful projects.
• Experience with export and compliance procedures, including TSCA, RoHS, WEEE, and DOT.
• Managerial experience, preferably in warehouse operations and logistics.
