Program Manager, Federal (Cybersecurity SaaS)

Location: Remote - US; candidates must be located in the Washington, DC metro area, Virginia, or Southern Colorado; travel up to 25%

Base salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually, plus a 10% annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Direct the definition, planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic programs and projects across Department of War customers.
• Manage program lifecycles, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and corrective actions across a portfolio of complex implementations.
• Serve as the primary delivery and technical contact for customers and coordinate internal Federal Programs personnel.
• Design repeatable implementation playbooks and support technical requirements covering RMF, networks, authentication, and enterprise rollouts.
• Develop Statements of Work, government proposals, procurement documents, implementation scopes, deployment requirements, and technical specifications.
• Monitor adoption, customer health, delivery metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and executive business reviews while representing implementations at industry events.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of Department of War program management experience across complex, multi-program enterprise organizations, including dependency management across a large portfolio of strategic customers.
• Active PMP certification required.
• Active Department of War Secret clearance with a Tier 3 investigation, ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with a Tier 5 investigation, and U.S. citizenship required.
• Proficiency with software delivery methodologies and portfolio management for SaaS, on-premises, or hybrid deployments.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and a Customer Success platform such as Planhat, Gainsight, ChurnZero, or Totango.
• Extensive experience with complex U.S. federal government or public-sector compliance requirements.
• Experience liaising between business stakeholders and development teams to deliver technical requirements.
• Experience defining and maintaining consistent, traceable decision-making across diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including briefings for GO, SES, and C-suite leaders.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with mobile, BYOD, VDI, or zero-trust deployments.
• Familiarity with IL5, FedRAMP, and the ATO process.
• Experience at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Military service or Department of War civilian experience.
