Project Manager (Capital Projects)

Location: US - TX - Corpus Christi; available at the Corpus Christi Site at Gregory, TX

Annual salary: $116,071.00–$181,361.00, plus an 11% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Translate business objectives into capital project objectives and remain accountable for project success, cost, investment, and evaluation of noncapital alternatives.
• Lead project teams, set direction and expectations, and acquire or release resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop estimates and schedules, manage expenditures, and deliver projects in line with business expectations.
• Interface with the Business Unit Steering Team and drive capital project work processes under the hirify.global Project System.
• Lead gatekeeping reviews, complete Front-end Loading deliverables, and prepare project-funding documents.
• Coordinate commissioning, turnover, operations and maintenance procedures, and construction design issue resolution.

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering project management experience.
• In-depth project management knowledge and basic knowledge of related capital engineering disciplines.
• Self-managing and proactive working style.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in an industrial setting or the chemicals industry.
• Experience working in a Phase-Gate Project Process.
• Experience applying Lean methodologies to maintenance processes and supporting business systems implementation.
