Project Manager - Turnaround (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; travel 30–40% depending on workload.

Salary: $141,200–$186,400 in California, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead assigned turnaround events, including maintenance and capital projects, through scoping, execution, and close-out.
• Develop technical funding documents, project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Manage stakeholder communications regarding schedules, budgets, and project progress.
• Lead teams and coordinate contractor performance for large industrial projects.
• Drive hirify.global safety programs and establish a safety-first culture.
• Apply plant operations, quality, maintenance, and industrial project knowledge.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines.
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines for the minimum hiring requirement.
• Experience with manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Preferably experience with industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting, and pipe fabrication.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and planning abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, SAP, and Primavera P6.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Ability to travel 30–40% depending on assigned workload.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC and passport and pass refinery background checks.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer qualification.
• Technical, engineering, or construction management degree.
• PMP certification.
