Sr Staff Business Analyst (SAP GTS)

Location: San Diego, California, United States

Base salary: $141,600–$212,400 per year, plus eligible variable cash compensation and equity.

What you will do

• Act as a solution architect for end-to-end SAP Global Trade Services implementations, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Advise on SAP GTS solution design and configuration, including impacts on business processes and related SAP modules.
• Collaborate with global process, trade compliance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders on process design, requirements, issue resolution, and support requests.
• Identify and implement business process improvements and communicate enhancements, bug fixes, and system improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams, escalate process decision points, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
• Maintain expertise in current SAP technology, especially S/4HANA GTS E4H.

Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP experience, including extensive SAP GTS implementation and solution architecture experience.
• At least 12 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• Functional leadership experience with the ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience implementing SAP GTS across various deployment options.
• Strong SAP GTS experience, including Broker Interface and integration with EHS, EWM, and TMS.
• Experience creating GTS master data and configuring SPL and embargo checks.
• Proficiency in interface development using RFC, ALE, IDoc, and Web Services.
• Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Knowledge of system enhancements and configuration, with IT leadership experience handling SAP GTS projects.
