Senior Sales & Retail Operations Analyst (MDF/CPFR)

Location: San Diego, with a hybrid home/office workplace; occasional travel of approximately 5% may be required.

Base salary: $76,375–$101,834 per year, plus eligibility for an annual corporate bonus plan.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end Market Development Funds operations, including forecasts, budgets, agreements, account assignments, accruals, claims, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Maintain MDF data in SAP, Vistex, and supporting tools while investigating and correcting account, program, agreement, and claim discrepancies.
• Establish MDF controls, approval workflows, process documentation, standard work, and audit-ready records.
• Maintain Power BI and Excel reporting covering commitments, spend, claims, open items, variances, utilization, and financial exposure.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and adoption for system, reporting, and workflow changes.
• Support retailer-level sales and demand forecasting, identify forecast gaps, communicate risks and opportunities, and implement practical automation using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, and similar tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, analytics, information systems, or a related field preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in sales operations, MDF or trade-promotion management, finance operations, or collaborative forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience creating clear Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Working knowledge of SAP or a comparable enterprise system.
• Experience documenting processes, defining controls, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, presentation, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with incomplete information, and communicate concise, actionable recommendations.
• Honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct are material requirements for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer electronics, retail, distribution, or another fast-moving product environment.
• Experience with Vistex, MDF, claims, accruals, workflows, or financial controls.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar tools to simplify workflows and improve productivity.
