Sales Finance Operations Analyst

Location: Palo Alto, CA, US; hybrid workplace

Salary: $85,000–$135,000/year, excluding potential sign-on bonus, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own process and workflow optimization across forecasting, reporting, and deal tracking.
• Lead automation initiatives, develop dashboards and reporting tools, and reduce manual and ad hoc analysis.
• Use AI and automation tools and partner with Finance Systems and Engineering as needed.
• Translate leadership’s revenue strategy and performance requests into scalable workflows and repeatable tools.
• Support Deal Desk operations during peak periods, especially quarter-end close, while improving timeliness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the forecasting analyst, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue Accounting, and Legal teams to integrate improvements and track revenue impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in finance operations, process improvement, systems implementation, or sales operations.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically by designing improvements and executing operationally.
• High ownership and execution bias, with personal accountability for solutions from conception through implementation.
