Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Full-Stack)

Location: Remote - US; based in the Bay Area with occasional customer travel. hirify.global cannot hire in Montana, Hawaii, Alaska, or Washington DC.

Compensation: $250,000–$400,000 OTE + equity.

hirify.global provides a UX research platform and an AI Training & Evals unit that produces consented human behavior data, training data, evaluations, and benchmarks for AI researchers, product teams, and research partners.

What you will do

• Turn ambiguous customer briefs into technical plans with Strategic Project Leads, deciding what to reuse, configure, extend, or build.
• Build and ship capture flows, task logic, data pipelines, and data delivery across web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Use coding agents and evals in production development and help others adopt these practices.
• Own data redaction, validation, provenance, quality checks, human-review paths, and evidence of data quality.
• Collaborate with core engineering to move repeatable custom builds into the platform and inform future capabilities.
• Deliver customer programs involving real-world AI use, model comparisons, human judgment data, and feedback loops connecting user behavior to product decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years shipping production full-stack software.
• Direct experience working with technical customers as a forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or early founding engineer.
• Experience building and running data pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, redaction, and delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar, including serious shipped work.
• Experience building with LLMs and evaluating their non-deterministic behavior across a distribution rather than only against a fixed test suite.
• Clear written communication and the ability to explain tradeoffs to researchers and product managers.
• Must be based in the Bay Area and able to travel occasionally to customers.

• Experience with human data, labeling, or evaluation pipelines.
• Mobile or browser-based capture experience.
• Experience handling sensitive or regulated data.
• Experience founding something.
