Product Manager - Payment Fraud, Flights (Fintech)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working. Up to 20 days per year working from abroad in the home country.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and product backlog for Payment Fraud Flights.
• Define objectives, success metrics, and fraud KPIs for payment-fraud prevention, detection, and recovery.
• Guide engineering, machine learning, and operations teams in building scalable fraud solutions.
• Assess new business initiatives, identify payment threats and risks, and drive mitigation before launch and during scaling.
• Collaborate with business, payments, legal, product, engineering, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
• Track the third-party fraud-solution ecosystem and adapt products to evolving technology and threats.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a technical Product Manager or Product Owner.
• Experience working with machine learning scientists and engineers.
• Experience using data to make decisions and formulating and interpreting meaningful business metrics.
• Experience managing a large scope.
• Experience in payments or FinTech, with an emphasis on fraud prevention, detection, and/or recovery.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.

Nice to have

• Experience working on machine learning products.
• Experience designing, building, and launching new products at scale.
• Product expertise in Fraud, Risk, or Trust & Safety.
• Experience developing proof-of-concepts and iterating them into impactful products.
• Strong stakeholder management and effective feedback-loop development.
• Ability to adapt strategy to evolving threats, technology, and business priorities.
