Product Owner III (Insurance Data Processing)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; preferably based in the Netherlands due to on-site customer visits and training.

What you will do

• Own the CHV/VRA product vision, roadmap, backlog, release planning, and production deployment priorities.
• Translate customer, market, regulatory, and operational needs into epics, features, user stories, and prioritized deliverables.
• Act as the primary product contact for insurers, MGAs, and strategic customers; lead requirements workshops, alignment sessions, implementations, migrations, and onboarding.
• Maintain ownership of CHV financial, policy, claims, portfolio reporting, analytics, data-quality, reconciliation, validation, and transformation requirements.
• Direct AI-driven development teams, coordinate Engineering, QA, and Operations dependencies, and support refinement, acceptance testing, operational readiness, and release planning.
• Support operational continuity, audits, compliance, sales activities, product demonstrations, business cases, proposals, and roadmap discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Product Management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and AI delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into software requirements.
• Knowledge of API-based solutions, data-processing platforms, or analytics solutions.
• Fluent Dutch and professional English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Dutch insurance or MGA market.
• Experience with delegated authority, policy administration, claims, or financial reporting.
• Experience with QlikSense, data warehousing, reporting, or data-integration solutions.
• Experience with large-scale data-processing environments.
• Understanding of regulatory and audit requirements within financial services.
