DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Base salary: $160,000–$230,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Build, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters for AI agent workloads and production applications.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application services and AI-driven workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and operations with Python and Terraform.
• Deploy and maintain applications with Helm charts across environments.
• Own observability through alerting, distributed tracing, and monitoring for production services and APIs.
• Build AI agent orchestration infrastructure and partner with engineering teams on developer experience, deployment strategies, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience in production environments.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise, including deployment, scaling, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation, scripting, and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Helm and proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with a major cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong Linux administration and containerization skills, including Docker.
