Technical Team Lead (EUC)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with attendance at the customer's Dublin office three times per week

What you will do

• Manage and mentor an engineering team of typically 1–3 people, scaling to around 6 with contractors for larger projects.
• Act as the first point of contact for EUX project requests, gather business requirements, confirm funding, estimate effort and present costings for approval.
• Break requirements into technical tasks, run Jira sprint planning and execution, and lead projects through change approval to end-to-end delivery.
• Oversee physical device rollouts, automation, data migrations, application deployments, office moves and fleet-wide operating system upgrades.
• Coordinate with architects, project and service delivery managers, sponsors and vendors; manage risks, blockers, resources and stakeholder expectations.
• Produce weekly project reports, answer Intune reporting queries and identify opportunities to streamline work using automation, AI tools and agents.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud or systems engineering roles.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including Windows Autopilot, compliance policies, enrolment and application deployment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, plus experience with modern workplace solutions such as Citrix and VMware.
• Experience leading EUC projects from scoping through rollout, ideally across large laptop and mobile estates.
• Experience leading projects in an Agile environment as a Scrum Master or Project Manager, using Jira or a similar tool.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills covering business requirements, system architecture and migration plans.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, including reporting to senior leadership and working with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Microsoft endpoint management, cloud infrastructure, ITIL or related fields.
• Experience with Conditional Access policies, PowerShell or Python scripting, and system monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and quality assurance processes.
• Experience using Power BI and PowerPoint for reporting and stakeholder presentations.
• Interest in using AI tools and agents to streamline processes.
• Experience in aviation or another large, regulated organisation.
