Senior Full Stack Engineer (Kotlin/Java)

What you will do

• Design and implement customer-facing features for the Post Order Experience squad, including order management, rescheduling, delivery skipping, subscription pauses, and cancellations.
• Develop and maintain the Server-Driven UI service within the Backend-for-Frontend architecture, backend services, and databases.
• Iterate on features to improve user experience, performance, uptime, and customer retention.
• Contribute hands-on code, architecture, engineering practices, code reviews, technical issue resolution, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Growth, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations, and senior management on product strategy, OKRs, roadmap, risk, and status.
• Support the on-call rotation for 24/7 business operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience working with ReactJS, Kotlin or Java, GraphQL, and MySQL.
• Experience designing and building cloud architecture, backend services, middle ends, and web applications.
• Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and end-to-end tests.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures and experience building and consuming backend REST APIs.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Ability to use generative AI to improve output quality and speed.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps tools and cloud platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with React Native.
• Experience in the food technology sector.
