Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis (AI)

Location: USA - Remote; remote work is available from any location within the country of employment. Up to 25% travel is required for strategic team meetings and corporate events.

Salary: $185,000–$315,000 per year in the US, plus a discretionary annual bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Own the long-range planning framework, assumptions, financial model, refreshes, and alignment with the annual operating plan.
• Translate corporate strategy into financial and operational targets, investment priorities, multi-year scenarios, and capital allocation recommendations.
• Build an ARR-based model covering bookings, churn, solutions, geographies, units, and ASP in partnership with Go-To-Market and Corporate FP&A.
• Reimagine finance planning, forecasting, variance explanation, and narrative generation through AI-enabled models and workflows.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, G&A, Go-To-Market, Finance Systems, IT, Data, and Investor Relations on analysis and strategic messaging.
• Prepare executive, Board, and investor materials while working within disclosure controls and coordinating with Legal.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate strategy, or related analytics roles.
• Demonstrated ownership of long-range planning or a multi-year strategic financial model.
• Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills, including hands-on AI applications for planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Proficiency with modern AI models, SQL, BI tools, ERP, and planning platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex topics to the CEO, Board, and investors.
• Strategic thinking, adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to connect financial analysis with business strategy and market context.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Ability to build and lead a team as the scope grows.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience in SaaS or technology at a public company, including Board-level reporting.
• Experience with Investor Relations, earnings preparation, or investor communications.
• Experience in investment evaluation, M&A analysis, or corporate development.
