Director, Investor Relations

Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week in the office.

NYC base salary: $210,000–$220,500 per year.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s investor relations strategy and develop clear, consistent positioning for external financial audiences.
• Prepare the organization for capital markets events and major corporate milestones through public-company-ready communications, disclosures, and investor messaging.
• Translate financial models, operating metrics, and unit economics into investor presentations, shareholder updates, analyst day materials, executive scripts, and other financial narratives.
• Manage relationships with equity partners, prospective investors, sell-side analysts, and other financial stakeholders.
• Prepare investor intelligence, market perception analyses, shareholder targeting reports, and market feedback for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Accounting, Corporate Strategy, Legal, and Communications; oversee investor events, roadshows, webcasts, IR systems, databases, and disclosure-compliant materials.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or Strategic Finance, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing investor relationships in high-growth technology, food-tech, retail, or consumer sectors, including direct experience preparing a company for major capital markets transitions or liquidity events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced ability to translate financial modeling and enterprise KPIs into investor-facing collateral and strategic presentations.
• Deep experience managing IR databases and targeting platforms such as Q4, FactSet, or Capital IQ.
• High proficiency with presentation and communication tools, including advanced PowerPoint.
• Strong command of financial statements, valuation methodologies, equity storytelling, financial news flow, unit economics, and consumer and technology business drivers.
• Executive presence, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence senior executives, Board members, and institutional investors; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep familiarity with Reg FD, SEC reporting frameworks, corporate governance standards, and finance leadership during significant growth, scale, or organizational transformation.
