Director, Finance Strategy & Operations (AI Healthcare)

Location: Remote, United States

Estimated base salary: $190K–$220K plus equity.

hirify.global is building an AI operating system for healthcare that combines ambient AI, intelligent agents, and autonomous revenue cycle management on an AI-native platform integrated with more than 60 EHRs.

What you will do

• Own cross-functional finance programs end-to-end across finance, RevOps, engineering, legal, people, and product, including quote-to-cash, customer and contract data, planning-to-close handoffs, and M&A finance integration.
• Break programs into workstreams, assign owners, run operating cadences, unblock delivery, and remain accountable for outcomes without direct authority over all contributors.
• Align finance with sales, product, engineering, and corporate leaders on definitions, ownership, timelines, and business processes.
• Design current- and future-state processes and partner with Business Systems, Engineering, and vendors on finance requirements and acceptance for NetSuite, Salesforce, planning platforms, data warehouses, and internal tooling.
• Brief senior executives, prepare decision memos and process maps, manage steering meetings, and provide status, risk, milestone, and readiness updates.
• Drive AI and automation into finance processes, document controls and ownership, and prepare the finance organization for audit, diligence, IPO readiness, and scale.

Requirements

• 8+ years across FP&A, strategic finance, business operations, finance transformation, consulting, and/or chief-of-staff roles, including experience in a high-growth, unstructured environment.
• Track record as the directly responsible individual for large cross-functional programs such as quote-to-cash, ERP or planning-platform implementations, data warehouse or reporting builds, or M&A integration, delivered through people who did not report to you.
• Strong process orientation: mapping current state, defining future state, assigning owners, and setting operating cadences.
• Fluency across finance and business systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce, planning platforms such as Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive, data warehouses, and internal tooling; ability to write requirements and acceptance criteria for engineers and vendors.
• Finance and accounting literacy covering the close, forecast, revenue recognition, and board reporting processes without needing to own the numbers.
• Hands-on LLM literacy, including tools such as Claude Cowork and Code, and a clear perspective on applying AI to finance operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including running steering meetings with VPs, writing one-page decision memos, and briefing the CFO concisely.
• Low ego, high ownership, and comfort being accountable for outcomes that are not fully under your control.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL and low/no-code dashboarding tools such as Retool or Looker.
• Experience in healthcare SaaS, pre-IPO environments, or M&A integration.
• Program management certification such as PMP or Lean/Six Sigma.
