Principal Software DevOps Engineer (MedTech)

What you will do

• Build automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid code testing and deployment.
• Provision and scale cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability to identify system errors early.
• Lead responses to major production incidents, resolve failures, and identify root causes.
• Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and collaborate with developers and IT staff.
• Maintain 99.9% uptime and 99% quality of service during degradation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software support.
• Proven ability to lead projects and work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Familiarity with NewRelic and OpenSearch.
• Experience maintaining and supporting JIRA and Jenkins infrastructure tools.
