What you will do

• Drive content acquisition and submission growth across the psychology journal portfolio using subject expertise, professional networks, and desk research.
• Strategically develop one or more journals from scientific and publishing perspectives.
• Build and maintain networks of authors, peer reviewers, and editorial board members.
• Represent hirify.global and the psychology portfolio at conferences and through university and research institute outreach, including travel.
• Contribute to manuscript evaluation, peer review, and editorial decision-making.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a culture of trust, respect, and high performance.

Requirements

• PhD in psychology or a related field, with an excellent research background and strong understanding of current trends and developments.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with a flexible, innovative, self-motivated, and diplomatic approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively and achieve results through personal influence and engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Strong understanding of scientific publishing, including commissioning and peer review; prior publishing-industry experience is highly desired.
• Interest in science communication and advocacy for publishing innovation and open research.
• Confidence representing journal portfolios at conferences and institute visits, nurturing existing contacts, and developing new networks.
