Lead Technical Product Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in the United States, with the primary location in Massachusetts and additional locations in Illinois, Colorado, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Greenwood Village. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office for interviews.

Salary: $128,900.00–$226,050.00 USD, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own execution and outcomes for APIs, integrations, embedded applications, and agentic AI capabilities.
• Lead APIs and applications that integrate UpToDate intelligence into third-party products and clinical tools, including electronic health record systems.
• Translate partner, product, and clinical workflow needs into product and platform requirements, roadmap sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
• Define and improve API governance, lifecycle management, versioning, reliability, SLAs/SLOs, and developer experience.
• Define AI quality, safety, evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and operational-readiness requirements.
• Coordinate discovery, technical readiness, sandbox onboarding, testing, launch, production monitoring, upgrades, and deprecation with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years delivering complex software products from problem definition through launch and iteration.
• Experience owning execution and outcomes for a platform, API, integration, or other technical product area.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, authentication and authorization, reliability, SLAs/SLOs, and cloud architecture.
• Experience building developer-facing integration capabilities, including APIs, SDKs, documentation, versioning strategies, or sandbox environments.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to manage backlogs, document requirements and decisions, and collaborate across teams.
• Experience delivering products integrated into enterprise or clinical workflows.
• Experience shipping production AI-enabled capabilities, including evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and operational readiness.
• Strong product judgment in regulated or high-trust environments and the ability to lead through influence across technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Technical background in software engineering, architecture, SRE, or B2B platform development.
• Experience in healthcare, electronic health record integrations, interoperability standards such as SMART on FHIR, or another regulated domain.
• Experience with SMART on FHIR, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, AI observability, evaluation pipelines, or AI incident response.
