Data Analyst II Healthcare Analytics, Medical Economics (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Remote-MO; qualified candidates must be located in the greater Little Rock, AR area and authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $56,200–$101,000 per year

What you will do

• Interpret and analyze healthcare provider, member/patient, and third-party data.
• Support large-scale projects, manage data review processes, and deliver work within targeted timelines.
• Investigate data irregularities through root-cause analysis and present findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
• Support the design, testing, implementation, and automation of process enhancements.
• Apply quantitative analysis, data mining, data modeling, and trend analysis to generate actionable insights.
• Gather requirements, validate results, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management, or 1+ year of IT experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL or query languages.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis, data mining, data verification, data management, and data review.
• Must be located in the greater Little Rock, AR area.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Healthcare analytics experience.
• Knowledge of programmatic coding languages such as Python and R.
• Knowledge of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, including basic data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of modern business intelligence and data visualization tools.
