Sr Analytics Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base pay: $84,400–$152,300 annually. An annual incentive bonus plan may also apply.

What you will do

• Provide analytical support and consultancy to internal and external clinical and business stakeholders.
• Query internal and external data sources to generate meaningful insights.
• Create dynamic, visually engaging dashboards using data visualization tools.
• Lead analytical initiatives from inception through successful execution with customers or partners.
• Present high-quality analytical outputs and recommendations to senior leadership within short timelines.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders while working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience, Master’s degree plus 4 years, PhD plus 2 years, or 10 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, insurance industry economics, or a related field.
• High proficiency in querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in computer languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Ability to create dynamic and visually engaging dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong business intelligence and ability to take a business case from inception through customer or partner execution.
• Experience leading an analytics initiative to success.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, champion initiatives, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure and short timelines.

Nice to have

• Healthcare payer, managed care, or Medicare analytics experience.
• Experience with claims, member, and authorization data.
• Advanced SQL and Tableau or Power BI expertise.
• Strong stakeholder partnership, requirements gathering, and consultative skills.
• Ability to deliver actionable insights through reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
• Experience supporting Clinical Operations or Utilization Management.
• Exposure to SAS, Python, R, or Teradata.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
