Structural Project Engineer (Forensics)

Salary: $92,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead structural evaluations and failure analyses using sound engineering judgment.
• Organize technical information and review junior staff’s work to maintain deliverable quality.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, legal teams, insurance professionals, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Delegate work, provide feedback, and support the development of junior team members.
• Assist with project management activities and take on increasing client-facing and technical decision-making responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and documentation tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, PCA software, Revit, or AutoCAD.
• Ability to solve complex problems, balance priorities, and adapt designs effectively.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines, communicate clearly, and mentor junior staff.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure.
