Americas Regional EHS Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Edgewood, Maryland, United States

Salary: $111,333–$166,999 per year, plus a competitive Business Profit Plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage a regional team of 3–5 HSE&R employees, developing capabilities, quality, and safety culture.
• Lead environmental, industrial, health, safety, and radiation compliance programs across sites and field operations.
• Track regional KPIs, incidents, environmental metrics, trends, and corrective actions, providing analysis to regional and global leadership.
• Assess hazards and risks, investigate significant incidents, and drive continuous performance improvement.
• Plan and deliver HSE&R training covering compliance, inspections, hazardous materials, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety.
• Coordinate ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 registration and surveillance audits, emergency procedures, and regulatory interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a related master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 5 years of related HSE experience in a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of supervision or management experience is required.
• Strong organizational, leadership, change-management, project-management, delegation, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to challenge and debate important issues diplomatically.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Fluent use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems or equivalent.
• Facilities management experience.
• Previous experience with security regulations in a global environment.
